Experience Natural Bride Caverns’ Discovery Tour- travel through one of the largest, and most spectacular, show caverns in Texas! You'll walk 180 feet below the ground, through a mile of awe-inspiring, ancient formations including stalagmites, stalactites, flowstones, chandeliers and soda straws. After the tour, you will have time on your own for lunch and shopping in the Gruene Historic District in New Braunfels, Texas. Arriving in Texas in the min-1980s, German farmers became the first settlers of what is now known as Gruene (pronounced “Green”), Texas. A German immigrant, Ernest Gruene and his family built the town thanks to the booming cotton industry. Today the town welcomes visitors to explore the specialty shops like Buck Pottery, Cotton-eyed Joe’s, Fickle Pickle Antiques and many more. The Gruene General Store features a soda fountain, homemade fudge, Texas foods, unusual gifts, antiques, signs and tins, all in a nostalgic setting. Lunch is on our own and options include Cantina Del Rio, Gruene Coffee Haus, River House Tea Room and other delicious choices. Be sure to join us for this fun little getaway.

Missions Tour - Sunday

Experience the UNESCO World Heritage Site- the San Antonio Missions. Explore Mission San Antonio de Valero, commonly known as the Alamo. See the original frescos at Mission Concepcion. Learn about the nomadic hunters and gatherers and their life at the missions at Mission San Jose, the Queen of the Missions.

  • Guests will have time on their own to tour the Alamo (tour guide cannot accompany group on Alamo property; about 1 hr)

Museum Reach Tour - Monday

Take a riverboat from downtown San Antonio to the former Pearl Brewery. On your journey you will experience the lock and dam system which will help transport you towards the Pearl. See how the brewery has been transformed into the crown jewel of the Museum Reach. Shop and have lunch at one of the many restaurants and boutiques with time on your own. Then, explore the Japanese Tea Garden with its koi ponds, stone walkways, waterfall, and nature trails.

San Antonio City Tour - Tuesday

Experience history and culture on this City Tour. Take a guided tour of the Dixie Flag Company. Founded in 1958, Dixie Flag specializes in U.S. Flags, International Flags, State Flags, and Custom Flags and has supplied U.S. Flags to 4 presidential inaugurations. You will then have lunch at Mi Tierra Café y Panaderia, one of the most famous Tex-Mex restaurants in San Antonio. After lunch, you will have time to shop around Market Square- the largest Mexican market in the nation.

Experience the beauty of the Texas Hill Country. With time on your own in Fredericksburg, a historic German tour, you can: visit the National Museum of the Pacific War, taste some award-winning wine, have lunch at a bier garten, or shop at some of the many specialty boutiques. This time is on your own, so you can do as you please. After Fredericksburg, you will take in the magic and music of Luckenbach, Texas made famous by Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings.
