Student Poster Session

Call for Abstracts for AMPP Annual Conference + Expo 2025 Student Poster Session is now open

AMPP is looking for student individuals with great coatings and corrosion ideas that they want to share with the community. The AMPP Research Program Committee is awarding over $15,000 in total prize money to the Student Poster Session winners at the AMPP Annual Conference + Expo 2025. Prize awards are $2,000 for first place, $1,500 for second place, and $1,000 for third place in designated categories. A prize of $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place, and $250 for third place will also be awarded for the top 3 undergraduate posters.

Please note: An undergraduate poster placing in the top 3 for any of the three categories will not be eligible to win one of the top 3 overall (i.e., an undergraduate poster could score in the top 3 in a category but will not be eligible to win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place overall in the undergrad category).

Call for abstracts deadline is January 6, 2025

Submit Abstract

The Student Poster Session at the AMPP Annual Conference + Expo encourages students to become active in AMPP and present the results of their work to membership. Each student who wishes to participate must submit a 300-400-word abstract (a maximum of 2,000 characters). Please remember that student attendance is required to participate in the SPS at the conference. While a poster can have multiple co-authors, there can only be one student presenter. SPS are typically judged by AMPP Fellows, industry professionals, academia/research experts and Government professionals. Each student participating in this year's symposium will have the opportunity to interact and share their research with them. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to expand your network and gain some visibility in the corrosion community.
