Informative Sessions
These are opportunities to share and discuss information that is relevant to the industries served by AMPP but do not require a formal peer-reviewed technical paper. These presentations may be in formats such as case studies, practical hands-on demonstrations, panel discussions with a focus on industry, technology, executive level content, business practices/process and/or trends and analysis, etc. Similar to our 2023 event, Informative Sessions are welcome to be featured in Forums, AMPPiTheatres in the exhibit hall, Roundtables, Workshops, Technical Communities of Interest, or as a stand-alone session. The Informative Sessions should contain the number of presentations you expect to be delivered and the number of people you want to be able to seat in the audience. From there, AMPP staff will assist in determining the best placement for your presentation/session.
Peer-Reviewed Topics
Symposia are a way to hear the latest industry knowledge and methods before it's available in popular literature. This traditional format will include a formal call for abstracts. When submitting an abstract, authors must explain how this work will help advance and provide innovative technologies to the materials, coatings, and corrosion industries and/or will serve to introduce new information to the existing body of literature. A technical paper is required and will be peer reviewed for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
Research Sessions
Research in Progress symposia provide a forum for the presentation of information and ideas derived from current or recently completed research with opportunities for discussion and sharing of ideas. A paper is not required for these sessions and final topics will be approved by the Research Task Force.
Advertorial
Advertorial presentations are a way to promote your company’s products or services. A fee will be required for placement in one of these sessions.
Review Process
AMPP Staff will collect all requests for the AMPP Conference & Events Program Committee (CEPC). The CEPC will review requests in their entirety and determine the topics to be scheduled for 2024. Handwritten forms are not accepted. Suggested chairs should be notified before submitting this form.
Please email papers@ampp.org if you have any additional questions or concerns regarding the submission process for AMPP Annual Conference + Expo.
