As we prepare to host meetings, educational sessions, networking events, and hundreds of exhibits, we are committed to delivering to you a first-class experience in a safe and healthy environment.
We are happy to share details about precautions being taken to ensure you have a successful and productive experience.
- While we will not require participants to be vaccinated or show proof of vaccination, every attendee will be required to fill out a form indicating:
- You will need to show proof of a negative COVID test result within 72 hours of arrival to the event.
OR
- Proof of a COVID Vaccination
- If you are unvaccinated and have tested positive for COVID between December 9, 2021 and February 21, 2022, a test will not be required, you will need to show proof of your positive test and the date of the test. This follows CDC recommendations regarding people who have tested positive within 90 days and may still test positive even if they no longer have symptoms.
- On your first visit to the Convention Center you must provide your completed form and ID to a designated AMPP team member. You will only have to go through this process once. After providing your information you will receive a wristband which can be used to collect your conference badge. After receiving a wristband you will not need to show your form or ID for the rest of the conference when wearing your wristband.
- There will be no temperature checks or symptom screening upon entry. We ask that if you are feeling unwell, please stay at your hotel room and do not enter the Convention Center or other events.
- For your convenience COVID testing will be available at the Grand Hyatt Hotel next to the Convention Center. Attendees who need a COVID test will be responsible for the cost of the test. A Rapid test is USD $40, and a PCR test is USD $130. Prices are subject to change.
- You are welcome to purchase a test elsewhere, but you must upload the results to the verification form that will be sent the week of February 21, 2022.
- If you are traveling internationally and need a test prior to your departure from the U.S., you may use the testing site at the Grand Hyatt. You will be responsible for the cost of the test. Please allow 24-48 hours for the results. No appointment is necessary.
- As of November 8, 2021, the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center recommends that anyone in the Center wear a mask, but it is not required. This recommendation is subject to change at the discretion of the San Antonio Convention Center. (Convention Center COVID Info)
- Currently the Convention Center is operating at regular capacity with no social distancing requirements. We ask all attendees to respect the personal choices of others with regard to masks and distance preferences.
- All registrants will be required to sign a COVID-19 Waiver prior to completing the registration process. The waiver can be completed online or onsite at the registration desk. A copy of the waiver can be found here.
